SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to copy a Microsoft PowerPoint file from a desktop computer to a Handheld PC (H/PC), you may receive the following error message:

   Cannot convert file <filename>. Server execution failed.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if PowerPoint is not installed on the desktop computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install PowerPoint on the desktop computer.
