Before synchronizing your Windows CE-based device and your desktop computer, the euro character is displayed correctly on the Windows CE- based device and in Microsoft Outlook 97 on the desktop computer. After synchronization, the euro character may appear as a question mark (?).
To work around this problem, use either of the following methods.
Change the font used in Outlook 97 on the desktop computer to Times New Roman. This may allow the conversion to work correctly. For information about changing fonts in Outlook 97, please consult the program's online Help.
Upgrade to your desktop computer to Microsoft Outlook 98.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows CE Services.
