Graphics Issues in Pocket PowerPoint Presentations

SYMPTOMS

When you open a Microsoft Pocket PowerPoint presentation, you may see slides with additional graphics, or an incorrect pattern, texture, or shading gradient.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the Microsoft PowerPoint presentation you converted to Pocket PowerPoint contains formatting that Pocket PowerPoint does not support.

RESOLUTION

To resolve these issues, follow these steps:

1. On the desktop computer, open a PowerPoint presentation that exhibits

   any of the issues described in the symptoms section of this article.

2. View any slide in the presentation that exhibits at least one of these

   symptoms.

3. Right-click the slide background, and then click Background.

4. Click the Omit Background Graphics From Master check box to clear it.

5. In the Background Fill box, click Automatic.

6. Click Apply To All.

7. On the File menu, click Save, and then quit PowerPoint.

8. Copy the PowerPoint presentation to the Handheld PC (H/PC).
