When you install Microsoft Windows CE Services on a desktop computer, the InstallShield Setup program may stop responding (hang).
This behavior can occur if the Temp or Tmp folders contain too many files or some damaged files.
To resolve this issue, delete the files in the Temp and Tmp folders.
For information about how to delete files, click Start, and then click Help. On the Index tab, type "deleting" (without quotation marks), and then double-click the "Deleting files or folders" topic.
NOTE: If you are using Microsoft Windows 98, double-click the "Deleting files, folders" topic.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows CE Services, versions 2.0 and 2.1.
