When you use Pocket Internet Explorer on a Handheld PC (H/PC) to view a Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) image, Pocket Internet Explorer may not properly display the image, or you may receive a "Bad MIME format" error message.
This behavior can occur if the JPEG image file does not contain a JPEG File Interchange Format (JFIF) file header.
To resolve this issue, use an image editing program that supports the JPEG format to open and then save the JPEG image. This procedure adds the JFIF file header to the JPEG image.
Some digital cameras do not include the JFIF file header when they record a JPEG image. Pocket Internet Explorer uses this file header to identify a JPEG image.
