Installing IntelliType Software Disables IntelliPoint Features

• Microsoft EasyBall version 1.0
• Microsoft IntelliPoint software versions 2.0, 2.0a, 2.1, 2.2
• Microsoft IntelliType software version 1.1

SYMPTOMS

When you install the IntelliType software or the EasyBall software after you install the IntelliPoint software, some IntelliPoint features may be disabled or may not function properly.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if the IntelliType and EasyBall software installations overwrite the newer IntelliPoint files, causing the IntelliPoint features to become disabled.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reinstall the IntelliPoint software.
