IntelliMouse: Office Binder Hangs When Selecting Font with Wheel

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Microsoft IntelliMouse wheel to scroll through the font list to select a font in a Microsoft Word 97 document, the Microsoft Office Binder may stop responding (hang).

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Close Program dialog box.



2. Click Microsoft Office Binder, and then click End Task.



3. Click End Task again if you are prompted to do so.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
