Microsoft has released the Microsoft IntelliPoint software version 2.2. This software is designed to work with the Microsoft input devices listed in the applies to section of this article.

The IntelliPoint software is included with the retail version of any Microsoft pointing device. However, the IntelliPoint software is not available for purchase as a separate product.

To upgrade to version 2.2 of the IntelliPoint software, version 1.1 or later of the IntelliPoint software must be installed on your computer or you must have an installation disk for version 1.1 or later of the IntelliPoint software.
