LED Lights on Keyboard Are Not Lit in MS-DOS Mode

SYMPTOMS

When you connect the Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite to a Compaq Presario computer running in MS-DOS mode, the LED lights on the keyboard may remain unlit.

NOTE: The LED lights on the keyboard light up when the computer is running Microsoft Windows.

CAUSE

This behavior is caused by a limitation of some Compaq Presario computers.

MORE INFORMATION

No functionality is lost in MS-DOS mode when the LED lights on the keyboard remain unlit.
