MNK Pro Error Message: Cannot Find Network.drv

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to install the Microsoft IntelliType Pro software, you may receive the following error message:

File Error

Cannot find Network.drv

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:

• You attempt to install the IntelliType Pro software on a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based computer.



• Multiple CD-ROM drives are installed in the computer, or the hard disk is partitioned.



• You use the Autorun.inf file to install the IntelliType Pro software.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, click Close when you receive the error message, and then follow the instructions on the screen to complete Setup.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft IntelliType Pro software, version 1.0.
