MNK Pro: Cannot Select Configuration Files When Changing Keyboard Type

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to change your keyboard type using the Add New Hardware tool in Control Panel, you may be unable to select the following configuration files located on the Intellitype Pro CD-ROM:

• Mskbdhid.inf
• Mskbdusb.inf
• Mskeybrd.inf
• Setup.inf

CAUSE

This behavior is by design.

RESOLUTION

To change your keyboard type, click the Autorun.inf file, click OK, and then follow the instructions on the screen to finish changing your keyboard type.
