BUG: Changing Content For Offline Use Option Has No EffectID: Q175717
|
When you attempt to change the option under Content For Offline Use in the Advanced Download Options dialog box for Active Channel subscriptions, the change may not take effect.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
A Channel Definition Format (CDF) file specifies the Content For Offline
Use default option. The "Download all content specified by the channel's
publisher" and "Download channel's Home Page and Table of Contents, if
available" options are advanced download options for Active Channel
subscriptions.
For information about channels in Internet Explorer, click Contents And
Index on the Help menu in Internet Explorer, click the Index tab, type
"channels" (without quotation marks), and then click Display.
