Cannot Submit Form Data Using Internet Explorer

SYMPTOMS
When you fill out a form on a Web page and then try to submit the form, you may receive one of the following error messages:
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you have Internet Explorer set not to receive cookies, or if you have configured a third-party program not to receive cookies.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow the steps in the appropriate section:
Internet Explorer 4 and Windows 98
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, double-click Internet, and then click the Advanced tab.
- In the Cookies section, click one of the following options:
- Always Accept Cookies
- Prompt Before Accepting Cookies
- Click OK.
Internet Explorer 5
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, double-click Internet, and then click the Security tab.
- Click Internet, and then click Custom Level.
- In the Cookies section, click Enable for the following items:
- Allow per-session cookies (not stored)
- Allow cookies that are stored on your computer
- Click OK.
- Follow steps 2-3 to enable cookies for the following content zones, if necessary:
- Local Internet
- Trusted Sites
- Restricted Sites
- Click OK.
Third-Party Programs
To set a third-party program (such as Lockman's Anonymous Cookies Deluxe version 1.0) to accept cookies, refer to the program's instructions.
