This article describes Microsoft Interactive Music Control.
Microsoft Interactive Music Control is an optional Internet Explorer component that you can use to create Web pages that play music, and to listen to those pages. You can install the control in either of two ways.
Install the control from the Internet Explorer 4.0 Component Download Web page. To do so, click Product Updates on the Help menu in Internet Explorer.
When you install the control, the Gm.dls file is placed in the Multimedia Files\Music\Interactive Music folder.
If you install the control from the Internet Explorer 4.0 Component Download page, helpful information about Interactive Music Control is available online at the following Microsoft Web site:

Install the control from the Microsoft Interactive Music Web page at:
   http://www.microsoft.com/music/setup.htm.
For information about Interactive Music Control, as well as a useful tutorial, Click Start, point to Programs, point to Interactive Music Reference, and then click Interactive Music Web Site. This opens the HTML documentation on your local hard disk. Note that this method is available only if you run the Imwebath.exe file.
