Errors Viewing Source or Installing Internet Explorer for Unix

SYMPTOMS

When you install Internet Explorer version 4.01 for Unix on Sun Solaris, or when you are running Internet Explorer remotely and click Source on the View menu, you may receive error messages that are similar to this one:

   dos2unix
   could not open /dev/kbd to get keyboard type US keyboard assumed

This behavior is by design. These messages are informational only, and do not affect the installation or functionality of Internet Explorer.
