Font May Not Change Size in Internet Explorer

SYMPTOMS

If you click the Fonts button on the Internet Explorer Standard Buttons toolbar, or click Fonts on the View menu, and then click another font size, the font size on the web page you are viewing may not change.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the Web page you are viewing specifies an absolute font size (either via the HTML code or a style sheet). Internet Explorer can only change the font size on a web page that uses relative font sizes.
