SYMPTOMS

When you hide the status bar in Internet Explorer, it may be displayed the next time you start Internet Explorer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

This behavior only occurs the next time you start Internet Explorer. The status bar is hidden in the current browser session.
