You can use the Links toolbar in Internet Explorer for shortcuts to Web sites that you visit frequently. This article describes how to customize the Links toolbar.
To add an Internet shortcut to the Links toolbar, use either of the following methods:
Method 1:
1. In Internet Explorer, open the Web page you want to add to the Links
toolbar.
2. On the Favorites menu, click Add To Favorites.
3. Click Create In, click the Links folder, and then click OK.
Method 2:
Drag the Internet shortcut to an empty area on the Links toolbar. For information about how to create an Internet shortcut to a Web page, see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

To move, rename, or delete an Internet shortcut on the Links toolbar, follow these steps:
1. Double-click My Computer on the desktop.
2. On the Favorites menu, click Organize Favorites.
3. Double-click the Links folder to open it.
4. Click the Web page link you want to modify, and then click Move,
Rename, or Delete.
5. After you finish the move, rename, or delete operation, click Close.
NOTE: In Internet Explorer 4.0 and 4.01, you can also delete an Internet shortcut on the Links toolbar by using one of the following methods:
If you are using the Windows Desktop Update, you can add a Links toolbar to the taskbar. To add a Links toolbar to the taskbar, right-click the taskbar, point to Toolbars, and then click Links.
