HTML Layout Control May Not Be Installed Automatically

The information in this article applies to:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.01 for Windows NT 4.0

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Spanish-language version of Internet Explorer 4.01 or Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, the Microsoft HTML Layout control may not be installed properly.

You may notice this problem if you create a Single View form using Microsoft Access 97 and then view the form in Internet Explorer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.01.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, download the Microsoft HTML Layout control from the following Microsoft Web site

   www.microsoft.com/ie/download/layout.htm
