Changes to any of the Internet Explorer settings in the Options dialog box may not be retained, or some or all of the settings may be unavailable.
Automatic Configuration is enabled in Internet Explorer.
To disable Automatic Configuration, use the following steps:
1. In Internet Explorer, click Options on the View menu.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Click Automatic Configuration.
4. Clear the URL box.
NOTE: This setting may be used by a system or network administrator to
automatically configure your installation of Internet Explorer and may
contain settings that should not be changed. If you are not sure, see
your system or network administrator before changing this setting.
5. Click OK.
NOTE: The URL box can be disabled to prevent users from changing settings that have been preset or disabled for security or administrative purposes. If the URL box is unavailable, see your administrator.

2. Click the Connection tab.
3. Click Configure.
4. Clear the URL box.
