When you download a file from a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) or File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Web site, Internet Explorer does not prompt you to either run the file from its current location or save the file to disk.
This behavior occurs because Internet Explorer 4.0 and 4.01 for Macintosh does not support this functionality.
The determine the destination folder for downloaded files, follow these steps in Internet Explorer:
1. On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
2. Under Receiving Files, click Download Options. The destination folder
is displayed under Download Folder.
This behavior occurs in Internet Explorer 3.0 for Macintosh only when you
