Special Notes on Installation and Use of These Files

These files are basic installation files and may not be added to a Microsoft Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) installation of Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1 as a custom component. Instead, for an IEAK installation (which is the recommended method of using these fixed files), these files must take the place of the current IEAK files located in the <drive>:\Program Files\IEAK\IEBIN\EN\Optional folder on the computer with IEAK installed.

To install these files on a computer with IEAK installed, rename the current Ie4wzd.exe, Jobexec.dll, and Inseng.dll files in <drive>:\Program Files\IEAK\IEBIN\EN\Optional folder and copy these new files in their place. Then, when you run IEAK, disable the Automatic Version Synchronization option to ensure you do not replace them with downloaded files. Build the IEAK installation of Internet Explorer.
