FIX: Fragment Identifiers Ignored when Server Responds with a Redirect

SYMPTOMS

When a server sends a redirect response, HTTP error 302, Internet Explorer ignores the fragment identifier included at the end of the redirected URL and does not scroll the page.

STATUS

This problem was corrected in Internet Explorer 5 and Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 2.
