SUMMARY

Microsoft Internet Explorer provides a designMode property, which is available on the document object. This property takes one of two values:

On: Prevents script execution and puts the document into edit mode

Off: Standard browser mode

This property is not supported.

The Microsoft DHTML Editing Component allows Web authors and application developers to add HTML editing capabilities to their Web sites and applications.
