When you install MSN, The Microsoft Network, with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, the Internet Explorer logo in the upper-right corner of the browser is changed to an MSN logo.
This article describes how to remove the MSN logo and restore the Internet Explorer logo.
To restore the Internet Explorer logo, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files Or Folders.
2. In the Named box, type "smmbrand.bmp" (without quotation marks), and
then click Find Now.
3. In the list of found files, right-click the Smmbrand.bmp file, and then
click Delete.
4. In the Named box, type "msnbrand.bmp" (without quotation marks), and
then click Find Now.
5. In the list of found files, right-click the Msnbrand.bmp file, and then
click Delete.
6. Close the Find: Files Named Msnbrand.bmp window.
7. Restart the computer.
