This article describes the changes to code page 1252 used in Windows 98 and Windows 2000.
The new code page 1252 is a modified version of the original code page
1252 used in Microsoft Windows 95 and Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.
In the original code page 1252, three code points are marked as "not
used." In the new code page 1252, these points are assigned to the
following Unicode characters:

0x9e | U+017e | Latin lowercase letter Z with caron |
