DHCP Disabled when Connected to Internet Service ProviderID: q219364

After you establish a connection to your Internet service provider (ISP) using your computer that has BackOffice Small Business Server installed, the Microsoft Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP) service may stop.
This problem occurs because BackOffice Small Business Server DHCP service is designed to be the only DHCP server on a network. Because of this, the DHCP service may shut down if another DHCP server is detected on the network.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Small Business Server versions 4.0 and 4.0a. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT version 4.0 Service Pack 5.
This problem does not occur with Small Business Server 4.5.
