PRJ98: Microsoft Project Stops Responding Creating New CalendarID: q177024

In Microsoft Project 98, if you create a new calendar for an inserted project, you may receive the following error.
If you click the Details button, the following information will be displayed:This Program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If the problem persists, contact the program vendor
WINPROJ caused an invalid page fault in module WINPROJ.EXE at 0137:301332d9.
An application error has occurred and an application error log is being generated.

This problem occurs when your are in a project that contains at least one inserted project and you create a new calendar for the inserted project.
To work around this problem, open the inserted project file in its own
window and create the new calendar there rather than in the consolidated
file. To do this, follow these steps:
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft
Project listed above.
This problem was corrected in Microsoft Project 98 for Windows, Service
Release 1 (SR-1).
