PRJ98: Unexpected Characters in Task Usage Printout or Picture

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98, when you print the Task Usage view, or copy the Task Usage view and then paste it into any program as a picture, external tasks may display unexpected characters in the printout or picture.

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, install Microsoft Project 98 for Windows Service Release 1 (SR-1).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
