When you open a Word document that was created in a version of the Mac OS earlier than 8.5, the document may not be paginated the way you expect. That is, text may appear on a page that is different from the page it was on when you originally created the document.
This problem will occur if you used any of the following fonts in your document: Times, Helvetica, Symbol, or Courier.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Word 98 Macintosh Edition. This problem has been corrected in the Office 98 Update for Mac OS 8.5.
