This article lists the ATM topologies supported by NetShow Theater Server.

Theater Server supports the following ATM topologies:

Classical IP (CLIP) over ATM as specified in RFC1577. With this ATM topology the Quality Of Service, (QOS) is retained.

Local Area Network Emulation (LANE) over ATM as specified in the ATM Forums LAN Emulation over ATM version 1.0 standard. (See http://www.atmforum.com for a copy of this standard.) Generally, with this ATM topology, the quality of service guarantee is not retained.

ATM connections of switched virtual circuits (SVCs). Private Virtual Circuits are very difficult to maintain with NTS ATM Multi-Point to Point protocol.
