Err Msg: Could Not Connect to Multicast ChannelID: Q171766
|
When you dial in to use NetShow with multicasting, the following error message occurs:
NOTE: Internally on the network, NetShow is working.Could not connect to Multicast Channel
If you are dialing into a Remote Access Server (RAS), the error occurs because the RAS server currently does not support multicast. You
need to dial into a device that supports multicast,
for example a Terminal server like Ascend Max 4000.
If you are not dialing into a RAS server, check with your ISP to see
if they support multicast.
