SUMMARY

The Windows Media Rights Manager provides some sample music types, such as Blues, Techno, and Folk. You can modify or add to this list by modifying the Drm_genre table in the Windows Media Rights Manager database.

MORE INFORMATION

When you install the Windows Media Rights Manager, a database is created on the SQL Server 7.0 computer that contains all of the Rights Manager settings. To modify the Drm_genre table, use a database editing tool, such as Microsoft Query. You can modify anything in the Genre_name field. You can also add or delete as many genre records as you want. Note that the Genre_id field should be an integer number.
