When you use the Windows Media Player with the Sigma Designs RealMagic NetStream-2 playback adapter to render an MPEG-2 stream from a NetShow Theater Server, you may see several squares (10-20 pixels) in the picture and may experience sound problems while viewing the stream.
This behavior can occur if you use an unsupported video driver in combination with the NetStream-2 MPEG-2 playback card on the Windows Media Player rendering client.
The Readme.txt file included with build 82a of Sigma Designs RealMagic NetStream-2 MPEG-2 playback card states:
f - This driver release is incompatible with the Diamond Stealth 2 S220
(Alliance), Rendition and Millenium 2 (Matrox) drivers.
Install another video card and driver that is compatible with the NetStream-2 MPEG-2 playback card.
