ACC1x: OLE Excel Format Changes When Updated in Microsoft Access

SYMPTOMS
New OLE objects created in Microsoft Excel version 4.0 are displayed
without row or column headings in Microsoft Access version 1.x. Once the
object has been updated, the display changes and row and column headings
are displayed.
STATUS
This behavior no longer occurs in applications using OLE 2.0, such as
Microsoft Access version 2.0 and Microsoft Excel version 5.0.

Steps To Reproduce Behavior
- Start Microsoft Excel.
- Enter Test in cell A1.
- Select cell A1 and choose Copy from the Edit menu.
- Start Microsoft Access and open a database.
- Create a new form and choose Paste from the Edit menu.
This creates an OLE Object which displays cell A1.
- Double-click on the OLE Object to activate Excel.
- Modify the contents of cell A1.
- From the File menu choose Update.
- Activate Microsoft Access.
The OLE Object now displays row and column headings. You may need to
resize the OLE Object to see the updated contents of cell A1.
