ACC2000: Can't Import Modules from Protected VBA ProjectID: Q205085
|
If you export a module to or import a module from another Microsoft Access database or project, or if you drag a module from one instance of the Visual Basic Editor to another instance of the Editor, you may receive the following error message:
This VBA project has been protected with a password. You must supply the password in the Visual Basic Environment before you can perform this operation.
There is no way to supply the password to the protected project.
In order to complete the operation successfully, open the database or project that contains the protected Visual Basic for Applications project and export the module to the target database or project. If both the target and source databases are under Visual Basic for Applications password protection, remove the password from the Visual Basic for Applications project that you are importing from or exporting to.
For more information about password protecting Visual Basic for Applications projects, click Microsoft Access Help on the
Help menu, type "protect VBE" in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard,
and then click Search to view the topics returned.
