WHAT TO TRY

Use the Add Printer wizard to install a printer. To do so, follow these steps:

  2. Double-click Add Printer, and follow the instructions.

NOTE: Note that some printers have their own setup routines that bypass the Add Printer wizard. Follow the instructions in your documentation.

MORE INFORMATION

In Microsoft Access, you cannot create a report if you do not have a default printer installed. When you convert a database created with Microsoft Access 2.0, a default printer is also required because Microsoft Access will create a new database and import the objects as new objects.

For more information about converting databases, click Microsoft Access Help on the Help menu, type "convert a database" in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topic.
