ACC2000: Recent File List Displays Deleted .MDB FilesID: Q209676

When you open a Microsoft Access database (.mdb) or a Microsoft Access project (.adp), Microsoft Access remembers the name and displays the name in the Recent File List on the File menu. The four most recently opened databases are displayed on the list. However, if you delete a database on the list, the Recent File list continues to show it as a valid database even though it does not actually exist. After you open other databases, the list is updated, and the deleted file eventually disappears from the list.
If you do not want the Recent File list to appear on the File menu, follow these steps:
