SYMPTOMS

Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.

Under Windows 95 or later, when you insert a graphic into a Microsoft Access report and then export that report to the Snapshot Format (*.SNP), the snapshot may not display any data on the page that contains the graphic. However, the Snapshot Viewer does print the snapshot correctly.

CAUSE

You have used a graphic file format that is not correctly handled when the Snapshot Viewer is running under Windows 95 or later. This problem does not occur in Windows NT 4.0.

RESOLUTION

In order for the snapshot to be viewed correctly under Windows 95, use the bitmap (*.BMP) or Windows metafile (*.wmf) file format in your report.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Access 2000 Snapshot Viewer under Windows 95 or later.
