ACC2000: Can't See Controls Placed in Tab Area of Tab ControlID: Q208191
|
If you place controls on an ActiveX tab control in any area except the page area, you cannot see the control in Form view.
Controls not placed on a tab control page are placed in the detail section of the form underneath the tab control. The controls will still be there; they are just coverd up by the tab control.
Always place controls in the page area of a tab control, and not on top of, or to the right of, the tabs themselves.
Any control or portion of a control that you place on top of a tab, or in
the area to the right of the rightmost tab on the control, is not visible in Form view.
CAUTION: Following the steps in this example will modify the sample
database Northwind.mdb. You may want to back up the Northwind.mdb file
and perform these steps on a copy of the database.
For more information about the tab control, click Microsoft Access Help on the
Help menu, type "tab control" in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard,
and then click Search to view the topics returned.
