When you right-click an embedded Microsoft Excel worksheet contained in a Microsoft Word 97 document, point to Worksheet Object on the shortcut menu, and then click Open, you may receive the following error messages:
Microsoft Excel
File not found
-and-
Microsoft Word
Word cannot edit the Microsoft Excel Worksheet.
This problem may occur if the following circumstances are true:

1. You right-click the embedded Excel object, point to Worksheet
Object on the shortcut menu, and then click Open.
2. In Excel, you click "Close & Return to <Document>", where <Document
is the name of the Word document.
3. You right-click the embedded Excel object, point to Worksheet
Object on the shortcut menu, and then click Open.
To correct this problem, obtain Microsoft Excel 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).
