When you open a Microsoft Excel workbook that contains a Microsoft Word Document object, the contents of the Word object may be spaced differently than in earlier versions of Excel. When you print the worksheet, the contents of the Word object may be printed differently than in earlier versions of Excel. In particular, the characters may be spaced farther apart.
This problem may occur because Excel 97 uses a different process for drawing objects. This process may cause objects that are created in the earlier versions of Excel to be resized.
To correct this problem, obtain Microsoft Excel 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).
