FP98: Script Wizard Button Disappears After Installing Internet Explorer 5

SYMPTOMS

When you insert a script in FrontPage 98, the Script Wizard button does not appear in the Script dialog box.

CAUSE

After you install Internet Explorer 5, the Script Wizard button in FrontPage 98 is removed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reinstall FrontPage. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Insert the FrontPage 98 compact disc into the CD-ROM drive.



2. When the compact disc is started, click Install FrontPage 98.
   
   NOTE: If the compact disc does not automatically start, use the following steps to start installation:
   
   
   1. On the Windows Start menu, click Run.
   
   
   
   2. In the Open box, type X:\setup.exe where X is the letter of your CD-ROM drive.
   
   
   
   3. Click OK.
   
   
   



3. Continue with the installation. Install to the same location that FrontPage was previously installed.
