FP2000: Database Menu Item on Insert Menu UnavailableID: Q232532

When you are authoring pages in FrontPage 2000, the Database Results Region only functions on Web servers that have Active Server Pages (ASP) and the FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions installed, or on disk-based Webs. FrontPage will not make this menu item available if the Web server that the page is opened from does not support Active Server Pages.
If you are authoring on a Web server, the database features are available only if the following conditions are true:

http://www.microsoft.com/data.NOTE: MDAC 2.1 is also installed with the FrontPage client software or Office 2000. If you are authoring a disk-based Web, the database features are available; however, they will not function until the Web is published to a Web server as previously described.
