FP2000: Pages Marked to Not Be Included In Navigational Structure Appear on FrontPage 98 Extended ServersID: Q229558
|
When you browse to pages on a web server using FrontPage Server Extensions versions 3.0.2.1706 or earlier, pages that were marked to not be included in the navigation structure in FrontPage 2000 still appear on the page.
Even if a page is marked to not be included in the navigation structure, it will appear on navigation bars of earlier versions of the FrontPage Server Extensions.
To resolve this problem, you must install the latest version of the FrontPage Server Extensions.
The extensions are stored in a self-extracting, self-executing file. You can download them from the following Microsoft World Wide Web site:
FrontPage Server Extensions Download Page
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
The FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions are enhanced to allow navigation nodes to be skipped when the navigation bars are created on your web pages.
Server Extensions version 3.0.2.1706 and earlier do not support this functionality.
