FP98: Auto Thumbnail Has Broken Hyperlink to Image After Publishing WebID: Q182808

If you are using the Auto Thumbnail feature, you will notice broken hyperlinks to the image file after you publish your Web.
When you insert an image from a location other than the current Web, make a thumbnail and save the page, the thumbnail has an absolute link to the source image.
To work around this behavior, use either of the following methods.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
NOTE: In order for the Auto Thumbnail feature to use a relative path the images need to be included
in the current Web you are working on.
