After using the Eraser tool on the Table toolbar, you may not be able to remove all cell borders if your selection contains rows and columns.
This behavior occurs when your selection contains rows AND columns. If you select multiple cells in the same row or column the Eraser tool works as expected.
You can remove the cell borders if you select adjacent cells in either the same row or the same column.
