FP98: Frameset Loads As a Blank Page in Netscape NavigatorID: Q183790
|
If you click the Style button to remove borders in a frameset, the page will appear as a
blank page when viewed in Netscape Navigator. In contrast, the page will appear correctly
in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
NOTE: To locate the Style button, right-click the frame and then click Frame Properties
on the menu that appears.
When you click the Style button, FrontPage creates code that Netscape cannot interpret.
To fix the page so that it will appear correctly in Netscape Navigator, follow these steps for each frame in the frameset.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
For more information about displaying frame borders, click the Index tab in FrontPage Help, type the following text
frame borders, displayingand then double-click the selected text to go to the "To display frame borders" topic.
