FP98: House Icon Missing in Navigation View

SYMPTOMS
When you open a Web in Navigation view in FrontPage, the House icon that
represents the home page is missing.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if any of the following are true:
Case 1:
- The name of the default home page does not match the default home page
name specified by the Web server.
-or-
- You are using large fonts.
-or-
- You are using an earlier version of server extensions.
RESOLUTION
Method 1: If the default home page name doesn't match
Rename the default home page so that it is identical to the default home
page name configured on the Web server. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open your Web in FrontPage Explorer.
- On the View menu, click Folders.
- Right-click the default page and then click Rename on the menu that
appears.
- Type the name recognized by the Web server.
Method 2: Using Large Fonts
Change your display properties so that you are using small fonts rather
than large fonts. To do this, follow these steps.
NOTE: Because there are several versions of Windows, the following steps
may be different on your computer. If they are, please consult your product
documentation to complete these steps.
- On the Windows Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control
Panel.
- Double-click the Display icon.
- Click the Settings tab.
- From the Font Size list select Small Fonts.
- Click OK.
- If you are prompted to restart your computer, click Yes.
Method 3: Using An Earlier Version of the FrontPage Server Extensions
