This article describes how to publish a FrontPage Web to a server that does
not have the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.

To publish your Web to a server that does not have FrontPage Server
Extensions installed, follow these steps:
- Open a Web in FrontPage Explorer.
- On the File menu, click Publish FrontPage Web.
- In the Publish FrontPage Web dialog box, click More Webs.
- Type the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the server where you want
to publish your Web. For example, type the following:
http://example.microsoft.com/myweb
Click OK.
- In the Web Publishing Wizard dialog box, follow these steps.
NOTE: Before following these steps you may need to contact your system administrator or Internet Service Provider to determine the name of the FTP server or folder, or for log on information.
- In the FTP Server Name box, type the name of your FTP server.
- In the Directory Path box, type the name of the folder on the FTP
server you want to use to store your Web content.
- Click Next.
- In the User Name box, type your FTP user name.
- In the Password box, type your FTP password.
- Click Finish.
